HELP HEAL NEW YORK: A Benefit for the victims of Hurricane Sandy @ Pacha NYC

With everything that has been going on recently one big thing in NYC has been raising money to give to Sandy victims.  As many clubs and djs have been donating proceeds to different causes, Pacha NYC takes it one step further.  On November 14th, Pacha is holding what appears to be an entire festival within the club.  With 40+ djs attending, and many more unnanounced that will appear, this really is EDM for a cause.  There are three different type of tickets that people are being able purchase, one for 40 dollars, 60 dollars, and 100 dollars.  The $40 ticket allows general admission for the event, the $60 dollar ticket not allows gives general admission for the party but also allows you to attend Ferry Corsten or Danny T+Chris Leibing as long as you arrive before 12.  The $100 dollar tickets gives vip entry and access for the party as well as giving you entry to one of the two partys on the weekend.

In addition to donating all of the proceeds, every single person that is working during this event is donating every cent to the cause, that means coat check tips, bathroom tips, bartender tips, we've even been told that we may be able to expect some dj's to hop behind the bar for periods of the night.  Not only that, but Pacha will be auctioning off some once in a lifetime opportunities with the superstar dj lineup, including signed artifacts, private dinners, and meet and greet opportunities.

With many electro djs blowing up lately I'm shocked Angger Dimas has not been getting more attention. With everybody producing tracks that sound so similar in this genre, Angger Dimas is a breathe of fresh air with his sound, which almost incorporates a little bit of funk inside. Lotus - Marco V & Doctors in Florence

Marco V is no stranger to the scene, making his name known with his hit "reaver" and he is back at it and better than ever. Although a lot of music is always released on Mondays, I feel very confident to say this is the best track that has been released in a while.

Live @ Fear & Loathing 2012 - Tom Rogers

With Sandy upon us, most if not all of us are stuck inside for the next two days. So what better way to pass time than to check out some awesome mixes and tracks from I HRT EDM. We start off the day with a set from one of my favorite up and coming trance artists. Tom Rogers has been around the scene for a long time and recently played with none other than Kyau & Albert along with Eco. His style is unique to a point where he stands out but at the same time has some of almost every trance style in there so it is really almost impossible for you to not like his sound.
